hey all. just thought i'd introduce myself. my name's Craig, i'm 24, and i'm an avid bruins fan. been watching more intently the past few years, as baseball and football are my favorite sports, but hockey's really, really grown on me. i've been to a number of boston bruins games, and since i live down here in RI, tons of p-bruins games. i hope to take part in some interesting discussions in here. :)

thanks for the welcome :)

yeap, huge boston fan. love the sox and pats, and the celtics, although i'm not a big NBA, i think it's by far the worst professional sports organization, i can't stand watching it.

btw, if you don't mind me asking, what part of ON are you from? i have friends from arouns sauga up there, and am probably going back up there again this june to catch a series at the rogers centre.

Hey welcome! I agree about the NBA, I love the Celtics and watched a lot of games since 2000. But they won last year and I'm a little bored with the games this year. Plus I gave that team tons of attention recently, its all about the Bruins now. I'm a bandwagon Celtics fan lol.

last year did make it more fun to get back in the NBA, but the officiating, and that 6-man (non-)call in Portland just made me say, "enough, i'm no longer watching this." something the scale of the worst call made this year in a bruins game usually happens every quarter in the NBA. i just can't watch it. :(

Im from northern ontario close to the Timmins area I did get to go the the Rogers Center this past 2 summers the 1st summer I saw the Jays play the Angels and last year I finally got to see them play the Sox wich was great we had some awsome seats and the game was real close and the Sox ended up winning in extra innings.

that's cool. always one way to see a sox game.....get seats somewhere else. probably closer to the action than you can get at fenway for a decent price. a lot of friends i know go to either camden or tropicana for a series, that's usually the way i do it. doesn't hurt if they win, either. ;)

Yeah it can be cheaper, I went to camden in 2005, tons of sox fans as always. Saw a game at Yankee Stadium in 07 too.

I wasn't sure how the Yankee fans would be first time going there. But there were no problems. Four yankee fans next to us were friendly, they were drunk too lol. I kept standing up and clapping, quite surprised nobody said sit down. There were a few homeruns in the game. It must be just the bleacher creatures that like to start trouble.

yeah, it's usually just random people who start trouble.....can't be surprised if people taunt you, but that's fandom...

I had a Ortiz shirt on too, thought he was their most hated player. Just got a few dirty looks lol.
