Freeforums.com will be upgrading to that on July 7th.

We have the choice to upgrade or not when it comes out. And they are letting us test it. I set up a forum.

Like I told you before I dont mind upgrading to a new forum as long as they promise that they can move all the topics,posts and members from this forum to the new one we put too much work into this place to just give it up and start over again.

But maybe we should wait a bit since free agency is coming up next week and its usually a busy time of year for this forum but after that would be ok it always gets a bit slow until training camps open up anyways.

Yeah this could be coming at a bad time. I hope there wont be any down time while they change over.

I agree with Marc, in that we've worked hard to carve out our little niche here, let's not ruin a great thing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it as they say.

Its not going to be a huge upgrade. This forum will look the same, skin and everything. We can try out the new board, then switch back if we dont like it. I cant really tell what its like by that preview forum I set up.

I kind of like it. It's a good direction, and it's very flash orientated which I like.

All the current forums cant upgrade to phpbb3. Only the new signups will be able to use it until the end of the week, then all the other boards can switch over.

I dont know if its beacause they are working on the forums trying to upgrade to the newer version but the site is crashing alot for me lately I get the server too busy page after posting a message let me know if you guys are getting that also.

The option to upgrade is available to everyone now but you cant have a home page yet, and all the youtube videos in our posts wont show up. So I will wait till everything works.

I found out they are releasing the portal mod next. The front page on this site. So whenever they do I will change this forum to phpbb3.
