Wow I thought Portland was done after game 2. Especially after what light wrote about them giving pretty much forfeiting and giving Providence the series. Guess they changed their mind.

That's hockey for ya, anything can happen...that's why we love it. But Providence didn't get this far without putting up a fight, so it's not done yet.

Oh, it's done.

Pirates won 5-4 tonight, even got Tuukka pulled halfway through the third.

Sorry, but this is great for me, even if it's not good for the Bruins. Although, I will admit, this is one of the best Bruins' squads I've ever seen and the crop of prospects on the way are going to be great for Boston (especially that goalie kid).

Best of luck to your Pirates LIU, they were the better team. And you're right, we've not seen the last of them.

I actually went to this game 7 and it was pretty awesome and emotional for the PB's.

A TON of after the whistle action, it was pretty much back and forth for the whole game except for the 1st period where we dominated

we coughed up some silly goals in the 2nd and got schooled in the 3rd.

Some great experience for our youngsters...losing is as much a part of the game as winning, and if they can learn from it, the better players they'll be.
