hey sorry to leave you hanging.

um, when i go down when you come off the highway and take a right and follow that street up past the garden and through the light, you get to a garage with a giant P on the outside of it in blue. it costs about $30 for me to park there, but the traffic is so much more manageable on the way out than the garden parking lot.

I recommend taking the T into North station. If you park at Malden Center, it is $5.50 per car and $3.40 round trip with a Charlie Card. It's only about a 15 minute T ride and you avoid the traffic coming out of the game. It hasn't failed me yet.

Edit: I assume you're coming from the North based on your screen name. If you're coming from another direction, Malden Center doesn't always make the most sense.

could always get off the highway in a place like danvers or beverly and take the T in from there. it's about a 45 minute train ride, but it's about a 30 minute car ride, and costs about $20 more.

Thats what I been doing lately when I go. Granted its close to me but its easy and parking is free. Only thing the trains are on schedules and there is maybe only one a hour. Still not bad.

My discovery for this year, since I live in Wor. County is I go to Alewife and take the T to MGH then the short walk to the Garden. Easy, cheaper, and much faster than my Riverside method of the past.
